外階段で避難します

　令和7年3月11日(火曜日）
今日は地震を想定した避難訓練がありました。
中央階段が使えない場合は外階段を使って校庭へ避難します。
副校長先生から「避難も大事ですが、避難してからのことも大事です」と
14年前の東日本大震災の時、学校はどうだったかというお話があり
みんな真剣に耳を傾けていました。

Today, we had an evacuation drill assuming an earthquake.
If we cannot use the central staircase, we will evacuate to the schoolyard using the external staircase.
The vice principal said, "Evacuation is important, but what happens after evacuation is also important."
There was a talk about how the school was during the Great East Japan Earthquake 14 years ago.
Everyone listened attentively.

令和7年3月7日(金曜日)
「謝恩会」が開催されました。
実行委員会の保護者の方を中心に、体育館がガーデンパーティーのように見事に装飾され、
みんなでこの6年間の思い出を振り返りました。
子供達は「スターウォーズのテーマ」を合奏し、素晴らしい会となりました。
保護者の皆さま、企画・準備などお忙しい中本当にありがとうございました。

The "Thank You Party" was held.
With the help of the parents on the organizing committee, the gymnasium was beautifully decorated like a garden party.
Everyone looked back on the memories of the past six years.
The sixth graders performed the "Star Wars Theme" together, making it a wonderful event.
Thank you to all the parents for your hard work in planning and preparation despite your busy schedules.

一年間各クラスで読み聞かせをしていただいたボランティアさんへの感謝の気持ちを伝える会です。

This event was to express our gratitude to the volunteers who read aloud to each class throughout the year.

防災頭巾のかぶりかたはこうだよ

小雨の降る寒い中、中川保育園とうれしい保育園の園児のみなさんが
「わくわく学校体験会」に来てくれました。
1年生が「はくいのきかた」や「すわりかた」「ぼうさいずきんのかぶりかた」など
18個のブースをつくって、一緒に楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Despite the cold and light rain, the children from Nakagawa Nursery School and Ureshii Nursery School came to our "Exciting School Experience Day."
The first graders set up 18 booths, including ones on "how to wear a lab coat," "how to sit properly," and "how to wear a disaster prevention hood," and spent an enjoyable time together.

　今日は、今年度最後の土曜学校公開日でした。春のような陽気の中、各学年短距離走記録会などを実施しました。たくさんの保護者の皆様も応援に来てくださいました。（記録会の様子は、「校長室動画通信」でご覧になれます。）

Today was the last open school day of this academic year. In the spring-like weather, each grade held short-distance running record events. Many parents also came to cheer them on. (You can watch the record events on the "Principal's Motion Picture Report" site.)

今日は「6年生を送る会」がありました。
みんなが一生懸命練習した出し物を6年生に観てもらい
いままでありがとうという気持ちを伝えることができました。
卒業式まであと1ヶ月です。

Today, we had a "Farewell Ceremony for the 6th Graders."
Everyone performed the acts they had practiced so hard for the 6th graders, and we expressed our gratitude for everything they have done.
There is only one month left until the graduation ceremony.

今日は「ふれあい給食」がありました。
1年生が地域の方々と一緒に給食を食べました。
みんなちょっと緊張しながら「おいしいね」と楽しく食べていました。
ご参加くださったみなさんありがとうございました。

Today, we had a "Fureai Kyushoku" (Interaction Lunch).
The first graders had lunch together with members of the local community.
Everyone was a bit nervous but enjoyed their meal, saying, "It's delicious," with smiles.
Thank you to everyone who participated.

口の中はどうなっているの？

　令和7年2月7日(金曜日)
　食育教育で2年生が「おさかなタッチ」に挑戦しました。
　切っていない生の魚まるごとが発泡スチロールの箱に
　4箱分届きました。
　最初はおっかなびっくり触っていた子も　うろこを触ってみたり、ヒレの鋭さに気をつけながら
　慎重に持ってみて「重いね！」「さかなのニオイがするー」と
　大盛り上がりでした。
　最後は地域の方のご協力によっておなじみの切り身に姿をかえてもらいました。

The second graders took on the "Fish Touch" challenge as part of our food education program.
Four boxes of whole, uncut raw fish arrived in styrofoam containers.
At first, the children were hesitant to touch the fish, but soon, they started feeling the scales, carefully holding the fish, and being mindful of the sharp fins. With great excitement, they exclaimed, "It's heavy!" and "It smells like fish!"
Eventually, a local community member helped transform the fish into familiar fillets.

令和7年2月6日(木)
今日は相撲教室がありました。
尾上部屋の北陣親方(元幕内天鎧鵬）、伊勢ノ海部屋の漣（さざなみ）さん、
時津風部屋の将豊竜さん、木瀬部屋の閃岳さんがいらっしゃいました。
お相撲にチャレンジコーナーでは子供達が3人で体当たりでぶつかっていっても
びくともしない様子に子供達から力一杯の応援の声があがりました。
さらには担任の先生、副校長先生、校長先生もチーム戦で挑みました！
子供達は「すごく大きいねー」「お相撲初めて見た！！」と興奮した様子で話していました。
親方、力士のみなさん、貴重な体験と楽しい時間をありがとうございました！

Today, we had a sumo class.
We were honored to have Kitajin Oyakata (former Makuuchi rank Tenkoho) from the Onomatsu stable, Sazanami from the Isegahama stable, Shohoryu from the Tokitsukaze stable, and Sengaku from the Kise stable.
During the "Sumo Challenge" corner, even when three children charged at the wrestlers, they didn't budge, which led to enthusiastic cheers from the children.
The homeroom teacher, vice-principal, and principal also took on the challenge in a team match!
The children excitedly said, "They're so big!" and "It's my first time seeing sumo!"
Thank you to the Oyakata and the wrestlers for this valuable experience and fun time!

　今日は読み聞かせボランティアさんが、2月の読み聞かせをしてくださいました。どのクラスも、本に引きつけられていました。

3年生が社会科見学で向島消防署に行きました。
実際に使われている消防車の中にはどういった装備があるのか
はしご車のはしごはどこまで伸びるのかなど
普段は見ることができない消防自動車の仕組みを見せていただくことが
できました。

The third-grade students went on a field trip to the Mukojima Fire Station.
They learned about the equipment inside the fire trucks in use,
how far the ladder can extend, and other details about the fire trucks' mechanisms
that they usually don't get to see.

今回は大縄に挑戦です。大縄を回す向き、飛ぶ位置などを考えて
記録に挑みました。

Today, we had a physical education assembly.
Students challenged themselves with a large jump rope. They considered the direction to turn the rope and the positions to jump from as they aimed to set a new record.

　今日は、2年生が生活科で作ったおもちゃを1年生に紹介し、遊んでもらう時間をもちました。2年生は、1年生に丁寧に教えてあげ、数々の楽しいおもちゃで、1年生も楽しんでいました。

Today, the second graders introduced the toys they made in their Life and Environment Studies class to the first graders and spent time playing with them. The second graders carefully taught the first graders how to use the toys, and the first graders had a lot of fun with the various enjoyable toys.

Everyone drew this year's zodiac sign and their favorite characters in various colors.
